Laptop
all physiological data are stored and processed on the computer. You are free to choose any hard- and software you like (PC, MAC, DasyLab, LabView ...) Only recommendation is a USB II port. Graphical surfaces can be provided by us to give visualizing proposals.
MasterBox
is a modular electro-physiological data processing system. Data is processed via a bus system, A/D converted with 225 k samples per channel and can be accessed with a USB II connector. Modules are for example: temperature, ECG, ECG trigger, respiration rate, respiration trigger, blood pressure and many more.
Temperature Control Unit
measures and regulates the core temperature of the animal throughout the whole experiment with a precision of +-0.2°C. A special internal safety probe ensures that the surface temperature of the animal contact area does not reach a temperature >40.5 °C. The cooling unit is especially helpful for the MRI usage to balance the RF-power irradiation to the animal.
Vaporizer and Flowmeter
give easy access to the anesthetic gas mixture. The vaporizer is equipped with quick connectors and can be exchanged with one grip to change from one volatile anesthetic to another.
Knock Out-Box
to ensure stable conditions for the first 1-2 minutes of the experiment the box is temperature controlled. Anesthetic gases are removed at the cover plate with a vacuum ring to protect the experimentalist.
Surgical Board
independent if you just want to inject a tracer or go for a long surgical intervention, the temperature controlled board gives safe and stable conditions. Gas mixture is supplied by a central cone and sucked by another vacuum ring to stabilise anesthesia conditions and protect the surgeon.
Gas Bottle Changer
the motor driven system enables easy and safe handling of up to three different 3.5 liter anesthetic gas bottles giving independent gas supply for more than 30 hours. Calibrated pressure reducing valves enable quick setup of the gas mixture.
Uninterruptable Power Supply - UPS
ensures 30 minutes of total independence from the laboratory power supply. Whenever you move between imaging facilities you just need to disconnect the power connector. The long lasting battery system is automatically charged after reconnecting to the power.
